The Trustees and Officers of The Naval Review are delighted to learn that Rear Admiral Roy Clare has been appointed as Director of the Auckland War Memorial Museum in Auckland, New Zealand and offer him their hearty congratulations.  As a consequence of this appointment Admiral Clare has stood down as a trustee of The Naval Review after over 20 years service as a committee member and then trustee, during which time he was instrumental in promoting the establishment of the web site.  The trustees and committee are most grateful for his great contribution and wish him the best of fortune in his new life.

In his place, Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence KCVO has accepted an invitation to join the trustees with immediate effect.
